WHO SAYS YOU CAN'T COME HOME AGAIN?!
      
     From the bright city lights of Las Vegas to the tranquil, relaxing Dixon Lake Resort!  Which is better?  Dixon Lake Resort wins hands down.  We traveled 1700 miles to vacation here.  Nothing has or ever will compare to this vacation.     The cabins are perfect.  Fishing is outstanding.  There are many activities to keep you busy, yet you will find peace and tranquility.  We hope to find our way back here every year.  Thank you Dixon Lake for giving us the most memorable memories to last a lifetime.                             Lori, Carol & Siera
 
 
   Just a quick note to say thankyou for the wonderful time we had at your resort.  The girls are greatful for sending their masks you help them make!  Our youngest, Andrea despaired of ever seeing her creation again.  Since our return home I have recommended your place to many people.  They have school age kids and were delighted to hear about all of the activities you have to offer.  I've enclosed some pictures of the volley ball game.  Best wishes & thanks again. On our arrival we were pleasantly surprised that our cabin #1 was even nicer than the pictures on your web site.  We wanted to stay somewhere with lots of things for the kids to do and we love all the activities and all the attention given to the kids.  We are definately coming again next year and will be bringing more friends.  We had a great week and your resort is awesome!  The Dillon Family
 
When we were driving in here I thought "where in the world is this place any way".  It seemed a little scarey at first because that 10 mile drive in seems so remote.  Once we got here and spent a week, then the next year again and again and again, we were in love with the resort, the lake, the whole area around the resort and the owners too.  These are very lucky people who get to live up here year round.    We admire all the little special attention to detail they put into everything they do to the resort and all that they do for their guests. We had a great time fishing Lake Winnie. I can't recommend any place more highly than Dixon Lake Resort!

An article was in the Bemidji Pioneer On 1/13/06 written by John McRae
The article is too long to put the whole thing on the web site... to make a great story short he tells of his adventure to Dixon Lake to go spearing out on Winnie, he talks of renting houses and his constant action in the spear house and his great surprise of the wonderful accommodations. 
An Adventure Close To Home
 
    It was the lap of luxury for our group!  Remote yet just 45 minutes from Bemidji.  Scenic country, GREAT FISHING, wonderful accommodations, hard working and knowledgable resort owners.  Our groups day of wondering is over, we have found a home!
